About Me

Bio Picture

I'm a software engineer with a strong background in math and technology. I have a passionate interest in coding, and love turning someone’s idea into a functional, working realization. I am a quick learner with innate organization and problem solving skills. Coding speaks to me and these natural abilities.

I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and went to college at the Colorado School of Mines, studying Mechanical Engineering. After graduating from Mines in 2010, I moved to Seattle and worked there for six years as a nuclear engineer at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Eventually, I got the itch for a change, and I moved to Atlanta.

After exploring various options in engineering, I returned to my long-standing interest in technology and coding. I completed the Georgia Tech Full Stack Bootcamp program in 2018, and then completed Revature's intensive software engineering training program. I started working at Duke Energy in 2019, and still work there today. From a kid who loved video games to a student who showed strong skills with code, I know that I've found my calling. I'm glad to have found my lifelong career in this field.

Some of my favorite social activities include playing video games, trying new foods, and traveling. I spent 6 months working in Japan, and would love to go back someday to vacation.

I welcome the opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues, old and new.
